WSIB reporting and payments changes

Changes to the premium reporting at some financial institutions impacts your WSIB reporting

A number of banks and credit unions across Ontario have made changes to the way they process your WSIB premium payments and WSIB reporting.

In the past, employers have been able to take their Premium Remittance form into a financial institute to report and pay their premium amounts at the same time.

However, some financial institutes in Ontario recently made the decision that you will no longer be able to report your premiums at your bank or credit union (although most will still accept payment for premiums).

Reporting your premiums

To ensure that your account remains in good standing, it is important to report your premium amount to the WSIB when you make your payment.

You can report your premiums:

• ONLINE using our ePremium service.
• BY MAIL by submitting your remittance form stub(s) using the envelope provided.
• IN PERSON at your local WSIB office using your remittance form stub(s).
